"Where Ancient Flavours Meet Warm Hospitality"
Journey through the rich culinary heritage of Yemen — slow-cooked mandi, hearty saltah, and fragrant kabsa crafted with generations of tradition and served with the warmth of true Yemeni diyafa.
Three dishes that define who we are — slow-cooked with patience, seasoned with heritage, and served with pride.
The crown jewel of Yemeni cuisine. Whole lamb slow-roasted in an underground tandoor over fragrant basmati rice, perfumed with saffron, cardamom, dried lime, and our secret hawaij spice blend.
🌍 Origin: Hadhramaut, Yemen
Yemen's national dish. A rich lamb stew simmered with tomatoes and spices, crowned with a cloud of whipped fenugreek foam (hulba). Bubbling hot and served in a traditional clay pot with fresh lahoh bread.
🌍 Origin: Sana'a, Yemen
Tender chicken or lamb on a bed of long-grain rice cooked with tomatoes, dried apricots, raisins, and our warm spice medley. Finished with toasted almonds and fried onions.
🌍 Origin: Throughout Yemen & Arabia
Yemen Palace was born from a deep love for the food that brought our family together around the sufra — the communal dining cloth. Our founder, originally from Sana'a, carried grandmother's recipes across the world and opened this restaurant with one promise: that every guest would feel at home.
In Yemeni culture, hospitality (diyafa) is not simply good manners — it is a sacred duty. We prepare every dish as if cooking for family: with patience, love, and the finest spices sourced directly from Yemeni markets.

Every recipe has been passed down through generations. We use traditional cooking methods including underground tandoor roasting and slow simmering in clay pots — the same way Yemen's grandmothers cook today.
In Yemen, food is always shared. Our large shared platters and traditional sufra style encourage you to gather, bond, and feast together. We welcome families, groups, and celebrations of every kind.
Diyafa — Yemeni hospitality — is at the heart of everything we do. Every guest is greeted with fresh dates, Arabic coffee, and the genuine warmth that makes Yemen legendary for its welcome.
Yemeni coffee is unlike any other in the world. Qishr is brewed not from the bean itself, but from the golden coffee husk — spiced with fresh ginger and green cardamom, giving it a uniquely smooth and warming character.
In Yemen, a cup of Qishr is never just a drink. It is an invitation — to slow down, to converse, to welcome. We serve it the traditional way, poured from a dallah pot into small ceramic cups with no handles.
Pair it with our warm bint al-sahn — layered honeyed bread — for a truly authentic Yemeni welcome experience.
